Meet Jacq.
Photographs have always been important in my life. If something happens, chances are I’ve already taken a picture of it. I even dabbled in photography back in the day, and now my house looks like a cozy gallery, every room has snapshots of family moments and memories.
On the personal side: my husband and I have been married since 2004, and we live in Minnesota with our two amazing daughters, Lila and Brielle. They keep life full of laughter, chaos, and lots of photo ops.
A few things I LOVE:
-
Jesus (top of the list, always)
-
Antique shopping dates with my husband
-
Star Wars, especially The Empire Strikes Back (because let’s be honest, it’s the best one)
-
Food that makes my eyes water (spicy = happiness)
-
Getting lost in a great book
-
Rainy days (the perfect excuse to watch movies)
-
My circle of amazing friends

MY EXPERIENCE
I started in the darkroom in high school and college, back when “filters” meant red light and chemicals. Later, I worked in photo labs, where I saw my fair share of damaged photos, little fragments of people’s lives in need of saving.
Since 2007, I’ve restored more than 1,500 images and edited over 3,400 photos. Every project is personal for me. I don’t just see spots, scratches, or faded colors. I see family history, untold stories, and memories worth keeping alive. Each restoration is a little labor of love.
