Meet Jacq.
Photographs have always been important in my life. If something happens, chances are I’ve already taken a picture of it. I even dabbled in photography back in the day, and now my house looks like a cozy gallery — every room has snapshots of family moments and memories.
On the personal side: my husband and I have been married since 2004, and we live in Minnesota with our two amazing daughters, Lila and Brielle. They keep life full of laughter, chaos, and lots of photo ops.
A few things I LOVE:
-
Jesus (top of the list, always)
-
Antique shopping dates with my husband
-
Star Wars — especially The Empire Strikes Back (because let’s be honest, it’s the best one)
-
Food that makes my eyes water (spicy = happiness)
-
Getting lost in a great book
-
Rainy days (the perfect excuse to watch movies)
-
My circle of amazing friends

MY EXPERIENCE
I started in the darkroom in high school and college, back when “filters” meant red light and chemicals. Later, I worked in photo labs, where I saw my fair share of damaged photos — little fragments of people’s lives in need of saving.
Since 2007, I’ve restored more than 1,500 images and edited over 3,400 photos. Every project is personal for me. I don’t just see spots, scratches, or faded colors — I see family history, untold stories, and memories worth keeping alive. Each restoration is a little labor of love.
